This is our 2nd cruise with MSC. The extended Sinfonia was a feast to be on. We ignored all the negative crits (as usual unfounded again). Embarkation in Copenhagen was painless. The Sinfonia proved to be all we expected (Our previous cruise was on the Divina and we had to get use to the smaller Sinfonia - and did). Our cabin was clean and inviting. We had a balcony cabin and this was kept spotless. (Can't justify comparing to the Divina - but - I must admit that the Divina packing space was better than Sinfonia.
We opted for the 2nd seating at dinner. Sinfonia was testing the waters with free-style dining and (to my opinion) this was a great success. The food in the main dining room (all meals) superseded that of the Divina. Any - and I mean ANY complaints about food in the main dining room can not be justified. The same cannot be said of the Buffet Restaurant and we therefor took all our meals in the main dining room.
The staff were fantastic. (We never have problems with service, as we treat the staff with friendliness and respect. In return we receive exceptional service.) Florian and Mohammad in the dining room needs a special mention. Professional, knowledgeable, friendly! Olga in the Buddha Bar also needs to be mentioned. These are just the names I can remember - all staff we had anything to do with gave us great service.
Comfortable, clean, pleasant. Packing space a little restricted. A balcony cabin is a "must"
Quick. Took all of 20 minutes to be processed and boarded
We did our "own thing". Walked around the market and went up MountFloien. Beautiful views.
