Just completed a cruise (June 14, 2015) on the Royal Princess to the British Isles. This was our first cruise on Princess. We were NOT disappointed. We had booked everything from flights, extended visit hotels and of course the actual cruise. In all cases, Princess hit a home run on all times at bat. Their attention to detail was exceptional. To the point of being greet at one Scottish port by a bag pipe, and on 2 occasions bid farewell by a bagpipe & drum band, in addition, the servers in the Piazza were serving milk and warm cookies. All neat touches.

The Royal Princess was beautiful as well as functional ship. Service was superb from the cabin steward, through the dinning room to all aspects of their operation. All done with a smile, cheer and so graciously. Very Impressive!!!!! We supposedly had a full ship of 3500 guests. However, the ship NEVER felt crowded. Lines were seldom seen. There were only a few exceptions to this - one was when one of the independent tender groups messed them up and created a problem at St. Peter Port.

The ships intra-net (Princess at Sea) was a nice touch. Didn't even have to carry a copy of the ship's newspaper, the Patter. But we did missed having inner net access. Way too pricey on board. Read more
