Me and my wife have just returned from a two week Mediterranean cruise on Britannia. Embarkation was smooth we arrived at 11.30 and by 14.30 we were on the top deck enjoying a drink at the bar. The ship is amazing from the moment you walk on and see the atriam. We did not have any issues finding our way around the ship. Don't know what other people are moaning about because the mid ships stairs go from deck 4-17 and we never waited more than 5 mins for a lift.

The cabin was spacious and clean with an excellent size shower and queen bed. We were on freedom dining and used the meridan restaurant almost every night. The food was amazing especially the desserts. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The entertainment was first class we saw the Beatles experience in the the live lounge we also saw ruthie henshall in the headliners ,if you want to see 20.30 show them go at least 30 minutes prior to act as it gets very busy. The ships on board band pulse are very good. We would also recommend the crows nest on deck 17 . Resident pianist was fantastic. We also had Eric landlards afternoon tea at the epicurean which was fantastic. You can also sample his cakes at the market cafe on deck 5. The swimming pools are a good size and are heated and there was always sun loungers available . We used serenity pool more as it was quieter.

The grab and go is a very good idea offering burgers, Chips, salads , pizza etc . The bar staff are very good and you are never without a drink. Overall this is an amazing modern ship that offers something for everyone . Our only negative comment is there are far to many people who go on to moan they tend to be the older generation and there are far to many people who go on to compare it with other ships. Don't go on it to moan go on it to enjoy your holiday. We would highly recommend Britannia and would definitely go on it again.
