This was our first cruise but it will certainly not be our last with NCL. We were not certain what to expect, however from the moment we embarked to the last day of our Grand Mediterranean Cruise it was amazing. We must thank the entire staff of the Norwegian Spirit especially Karin our Concierge, Mary Jane our Butler and Dennis our Cabin Steward. These three were like ninjas; always lurking in the background to attend to our needs. It was quite refreshing to see that great service still exists and great service without any strings.

The food was great especially at Cagney's. The Cagney's staff can work at any 5 Star Restaurant in the world (we know since we are in the F&B Business). Every member of the Cagney's team seemed genuinely happy to be doing their jobs. They were attentive, knowledgable and graceful. The other specialty restaurants were also good however the Asian Restaurant Shogun, needs a bit of help with some "authenticity" and the meals there were a bit bland.

The entertainment we attended (shows) were very good and the final "farewell show" was terrific.

Penthouse with Large Balcony

Great room but it needs a bit of TLC. Some of the Furniture and Fixtures are in need of slight repair. However it was a very good room and kept spotless by Dennis daily.
