We chose this cruise based on Itinerary...it was a Baltic cruise that did NOT visit St. Petersburg, which is hard to find. (Note: we had been to St. Petersburg years ago and did not care to visit there again.) This particular itinerary spent two wonderful days in Stockholm, along with stops in Germany (2), Helsinki, Norway (two stops), Gothenborg, Sweden and Copenhagen, Denmark. Port times were generous allowing us plenty of time to tour these wonderful places.

We had been on the Eurodam two years ago so were very familiar with the ship, and it did not disappoint! We had done a balcony guarantee and were assigned a nice balcony on the tenth deck. Then the paid "upsell" e-mails started, and after the second offer which had prices reduced over 50% from the first upsell offer, we decided to take the plunge to a Neptune Suite! We chose aft wrap suite 8162, and it was just perfect in every way. We loved the suite, the huge balcony, the extra room and the wonderful Neptune Lounge with food all day long and two wonderful concierges. The only negative observation I had is that the closet space for hanging clothes was downright skimpy. I have had inside cabins with more closet space! But this cabin felt like home for 12 days and it was such a special treat!

The Eurodam food, service and on board entertainment and services was all top notch. Our favorite was the Tamarind restaurant (Asian surcharge restaurant) which is excellent. The staff throughout the entire ship is outrageously friendly. The food and service in the dining room and Lido buffet were all very good. Entertainment is good with the exception of the BB King Blues Club which is just fabulous. On Board port lecturer Ian was excellent and very helpful throughout the entire cruise.

Superior Verandah Suite

Cabin SY

Enjoyed our 12 nights in this excellent suite. Loved the huge balcony, comfortable bed and room, bathroom and dressing area. Closet space for hanging clothes is very small! Loved being at the aft and port side, however if you spend a lot of time in the Neptune Lounge it is a bit of a hike. Suite was quiet and we loved the location.
