First of all we were so lucky with the weather. Then the crew was absolutely delightful: very helpful, polite, always smiling. Glad we stayed 2 weeks, as one week would not have been enough for us. Going back to the ship was like going home, with a warm welcome every time. Loved the dancers & singers. Not so much the comics or entertainer though. Richard Matic was a wonderful cruise director: enthusiastic, funny, & charming. The food was not as good as the last time we cruised , a few years ago, but still good. The Bistro was a disappointment this time, compared to previously again. Absolutely loved the gardens in Juno, with the upside down trees: a must.

All in all, a wonderful cruise.

Cabin Review

Oceanview Porthole Window

Very clean, & loved the towel animals! Our steward taught me how to make a few. We laughed a lot!

Port Reviews

Seward

The weather was incredible. I never thought I would sweat in Alaska, but I did! Had a long walk along the ocean, met a beautiful Malamute, as big as a bear, & so gentle. I wish I could have stayed in Seward for 2 more days.

Icy Strait

Walked along the ocean, saw a whale feeding, her huge mouth out of the water: impressive. Didn't think much of the town though.

Vancouver

Stunning summer weather: blue skies, very warm. Stayed in Vancouver for a month last year, & explored all the bike paths: Stanley park, English bay, False creek (with a stop at Granville market of course), Kitsilano, then took the ferry with our bikes: paradise.

Glacier Bay

Very impressed with Hubbard glacier: saw large pieces of the glacier fall into the ocean.
