My husband and I sailed with my brother and sister in law on the Dawn's June 12th sailing to Bermuda. This is the third time we have been on this ship, and overall our 5th NCL cruise. It took me a couple of days to put my finger on it- but I have to say, in comparison to past cruises on the Dawn, she's a little bit tired. While the ship was spotless and basically in good repair, she needs the facelift and sprucing up that is scheduled for this coming January.

Crew members were cleaning and constantly tending to keeping common areas clean, but many just seemed tired, as well, and less engaging than they have been in the past. None were rude- they just seemed worn out and somewhat disconnected.

The sailing itself was uneventful heading over to Bermuda except for a foggy first night. The return trip as smooth as silk, and we enjoyed seeing hundreds of dolphin swimming along side the ship one night.

Clean, appreciated the full size tub and shower with great water pressure. Mattress was comfortable. Cabin steward was great- friendly, very stealth, and attentive.
