We are a family of three--two parents, one 4yo. DH and I are foodies, so part of what we thought we were giving up on a cruise was the food part (given that buffets aren't our thing at all).

First, before I get to food, our room was 6222. Great room, used the balcony a lot, good location, but next time we would be more toward the front of the ship (since we never got a change to use the adult-only pool, and since most of what we did was mid-ship and forward). We really wanted DS to use Camp Carnival, but he didn't like it. At all. The range for his "group" is 2-5, and most of the activities and toys seemed geared to the 2-3 range. That was our biggest bummer of the trip I'd say.

Good room, near the back of the ship. As a family with a young child, I would have liked to be more mid/forward.
