We cruised June 8 - 19 on Eastern Med. (Italy, Greece, Turkey) itinerary.
We spent the night at Hotel Traghetto in Civitavecchia and it was a great little boutique hotel in a wonderful location. The pizza place right next door on the corner was wonderful! We arranged transfers from the airport (FCO) through the hotel and they were great.
Embarkation was easy. We arrived early and there was no line. Not sure why we had to fill out credit card forms again when we had completed everything on-line, but not a big deal.
The room is great and in an excellent location. We like being closer to the forward elevators/stairs as mid-ship and back aft were used a lot more (closer to dining and ship disembarkation) and had longer waits.
Bed was comfortable, but sheets were a little rough. Pillows were adequate, although I am not a fan of feather pillows.
I thought drawer storage was very limited, but we used the space over the bed for most of our clothes so we survived. Plenty of hangars in our meager closet.
The shower/bathroom is larger than the average cabin on other lines and I really liked the extra jets and rain shower head that Aqua Class provides. The mirror does have an area that is anti-fog just like Celebrity claims.
Cabin stewards were incredible and always quick to take care of requests.
Stayed for one night in Civitavecchia at Hotel Traghetto (great location and staff, adequate rooms) before the cruise. It was fine and the pizza place at the corner was wonderful.
