After using Pride of America, I believe that this is the most economical and efficient way to see the islands of Hawaii. With the excursions, you are only going to get a skeleton overview but they are worth it. A few observations:

1. The staff. We had read many negative reviews about the staff not being friendly and courteous but we found that to be untrue. Everyone on board we encountered went out of the way to make our trip a good one.

2. The ship is an older one but was clean and nice. According to a staff member, they are going to be making upgrades at the beginning of 2016. Read more
