We travelled from Vancouver to Whittier on the Star princess from May 30- June 6. I have cruised before but never have I experienced the professionalism and service like that offered by Star. Our cabin steward was fantastic, the ship was clean, the food was excellent. I wish that we had cruised with Princess before so that we could have known about some of the items we were offered as suite guests. We are not much for Formal Nights and stumbled upon the Crab Shack while looking for alternative restaurants. there was so much food we couldn't finish it on the 2 formal nights. No towel art in the cabin but also no push to pose for and purchase photos at every port. The shops were as expected on a ship, wish there was more junk food offered. I am so glad that ships are moving to "No Smoking" and you don't get smacked in the face with the stench of old cigarettes at certain places on board. This cruise was to relax and relax we did. Thank you Princess

Penthouse Suite with Balcony

Cabin S4

Perfectly situated at the center rear of the ship we were able to view Glacier Bay without the crowd in the main rooms. Plenty of space to relax, plenty of storage
