After reading many reviews, we were unsure of what to expect upon entering the Carnival Glory. We were pleasently surprised and our time on the Glory FAR exceeded our expectations. First and foremost, the staff that work on this ship are BEYOND incredible. They are constantly available and ready to answer any questions and/or concerns that you may have while on the trip. They are always smiling and are consistently trying their hardest to make it a stress-free and amazing experience for your family. Shout out to Robert, Kertama & team in the Platinum dining room. They were extremely attentive and understanding and went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience went smoothly. We were so sad at the end of our trip to say goodbye to them, as they had become like family to us by the end of our vacation. Another shoutout to Andre in housekeeping. My adult children were extremely impressed by him. He got to know each and every guest that he worked with during the week making the experience all the more special. Cruise director Adam was amazing and we loved Eden. Rest assured to all of those considering this trip, the staff will not dissapoint. They are the most friendly and hardworking people I have had the pleasure of meeting.

We had no problems with the ship. Many people complain that it is old and outdated but we didnt think that at all. Im sure there are nicer ships out there, however the Glory is always immaculately clean and well kept. There are constant activities and things to do around the vessel for all ages. There was a "Fun Times" booklet left in the room each night that had an extensive hour by hour itinerary of activities and things to do around the vessel. We were never bored. The shows are AMAZING. Of course they are not Broadway caliber so dont expect anything too fancy, but these entertainers do a damn good job. They sing and dance their hearts out in every show and this was definitely a highlight for us. We highly recommend the "Motor City" show and the "Epic Rock" show.

There is TONS to eat on the Glory. We recommend taking advantage of the dining room. We went assigned dining and we dont regret it. We were assigned to Platinum Dining Room Deck 3 at 6 PM. We felt this was a perfect time for our family as we were usually STARVING by the end of a long day at port. Dinner didnt dissapoint. They switch up the menu every night and while some dinner options reappear on other nights, there is definitely something new to try each night for the adventurous eaters. For picky eaters they serve grilled chicken, steak, and a few other items every single night so no worries. The buffet was good. We didnt think it was amazing but if you want a more relaxed atmosphere or dont feel like rushing to dinner in the dining room then we recommend the buffet. Breakfast buffet is AMAZING though, we used that every single day. Of course there are other options for food as well (Guys Burgers, Iguana Cantina, Pizza Palace, and the Steakhouse). We loved the pizza at Pizza Palace and tacos at Iguana Cantina. We did not get to actually go to the steakhouse but, you can order steak from the steakhouse in the regular dining room for just 20 bucks (instead of paying the 35 per person you would need to pay when eating at the steakhouse). It is definitely worth every penny.

Cabin 6C

Always clean and the perfect size. You dont spend a lot of time in the room anyways ;) Cant beat the beautiful ocean views either.

Miami

Did not take an excursion in Miami

St. Thomas

Went to Magens Bay Beach. Taxis range in price from 4-8 dollars per person and then fee to enter the beach is 4 dollars per person. It is absolutely beautiful and comes highly recommended. There is food on the beach and chair rentals as well.
