This was our tenth cruise with NCL and our third to Alaska. Everything flowed easily for embarkation and disembarkation. The Free-Style cruising let's you enjoy a casual experience from beginning to end. The dining rooms are average and are a little dated. The Garden Café offers a wide variety of food to fit most tastes.

OK, now the really fun things include the Whale Watching and Wildlife Excursions out of Juneau. It was an incredible experience with a talented tour guide. Glacier Bay was a once in a lifetime experience as well. Skagway and Ketchikan gives a good look and typical coastal life. Victoria, BC is a beautiful town, but the timing was off.

On board entertainment was enjoyable and professional. Days at sea were relaxing times for card games and time in the library. The mark of a great vacation is how relaxed you are and the memories you obtain. NCL is ahead of the curve here. Great value, destinations and crew.

Port Reviews

Seattle

Seattle is an eclectic point of embarkation. Pike Place Market is packed with many dining, shopping and interesting attractions.

Skagway

Skagway is truly a frontier town. Shopping was unique experience.

Glacier Bay

Part of the cruise itinerary. This did not disappoint. The park rangers did a great job preparing us for the experience. We got a close look at several glaciers, moraines, etc.

Well worth the trip.

Ketchikan

This is the tourist port with lots of shopping and glimpses of Alaska's past. Discovered a great coffee house.
