Trip Details
  • Sail Date: May 2015
  • Destination: the Baltic Sea

Viking arranged our flight at a time that we wanted, which ment we landed in Stockholm at 11:15 and were on board at 13:17 giving us half a day to explore Stockholm.

Airport reception was great with Viking reps delivering us a trolley at the luggage pick up and escorting us to the coaches.

Embarkation procedures were carried out whilst we sat in the coach at the port (out of the cold and rain) and we were greeted by ships staff with drinks as soon as we boarded.

Service was great, I asked Martha where I could get English Breakfast tea and on return to my room had a dish of 16 tea bags by the coffee machine.

Rest of the cruise was great in all departments and we had 2 resevations for Manfredi's and 3 for the Chef's Table but the Restraunt, World Cafe and Mamsens were excellant as well.

Disembarkation was good and as I had asked for an evening flight to the UK I had full use of the ships communal facilities till 17:00 hours.
