We love cruising. Unfortunately this cruise was not our favourite. We booked Liberty of the Seas Eastern Caribbean cruise to celebrate a milestone birthday. We travelled from Vancouver, BC; it was part of a 3-week vacation including New York City and North Fork, Long Island, which were fabulous!

This was our first RCL cruise. I do a lot of research before booking our vacations and found the Liberty to have pretty solid reviews so did not hesitate. But we have cruised Regent and Princess several times and found them to be superior in every way, except for the entertainment. In this regard Liberty far surpassed our expectations. We experienced the best entertainment on board this ship. We attended all the main shows: Ice show, Air show, and Saturday Night Fever, which were all high quality, professional shows.

Our cabin on the 9th floor was great. Ample living and storage space with a really good-sized balcony. Our cabin steward's service was very good - he provided a mattress foam for added comfort. Our bed was very comfortable.
