We did the 7day inner cruise flying into Seattle from London. The stateroom with a balcony proved a must particularly with our body clock out of sync as the 03.00 viewing of humpback whales in calm water was ethereal.

Although we didn't partake of any evenings entertainment due to body clock, my wife and I loved the seminars reviewing what treats we were in for at each port and for anyone going, here was our take;

If you do nothing else you must do the Tracy Arm excursion, Orca whale, Bald Eagles and Bear was spied as close as you like...this and the Sawyer Glacier made the trip for me.

Deluxe Veranda 2D

Cabin 2D

It was a deluxe veranda but not sure what type however we were starboard stern(?) nice room, exceptionally clean with stewards who went out of their way to ensure you had everything you needed - nothing was too much trouble.

The TV showed missed cruise seminars (watched in bed) as was the hilarious Cruise Entertainments manager who was on daily.
