Like any other Royal Caribbean Ship, the decor, range of facilities and cabins were beyond my expectation. However, they were lacking in the most vital aspect of all vacations. Providing a relatively standard of service with the price paid for the cruise. This may not be a top notch cruise line such as Seabourn, Crystal or Regent, but the service was no where near acceptable for the standards that Royal Caribbean tries to promote.

Fore every single attraction and show on the ship, everything had to be reserved. And because this was a very short cruise of 3 nights, there was not enough time to let all the guests try everything. I skipped the North star, as this didn't require reservations and so lines were almost up to 2 hours waiting time at 8am on a sea day. And was cut off at 2 hours the day before in Port Klang when there supposedly was meant to be less people.

Star Water, the main show which was very good in my opinion had two show times 7:30 and 9:30 which were also full. Star Water is a must see. The other show Feathers and Sequins was also quite entertaining and had really good dancers and singers. Queues were needed for everything. Fifteen to twenty-minute queues for getting into restaurants that we already reserved. One - three hour queues for bumper cars and half an hour queues for guest services and disembarkation on disembarkation day.

Cabin Review

Sky Loft Suite with Balcony

Cabin SL

The cabin was great, very modern and very elegant. We stayed in a Sky loft suite. Cabin 8722. Beautiful aft view. The beds in the suite was the most comfortable of all the cruises we've been on. Even the sofa bed was pretty comfortable. Very nice size for 4 people. One Queen/King size bed in the loft and one sofa bed downstairs. 1 full bath with a shower in the loft and two half baths downstairs. One half with a shower, and the other half with a toilet.
