This is our 8th cruise all on Carnival but 1. The Sunshine is a beautiful ship and we had a great vacation.

I had a great time but I don't think I'd sail on the Sunshine again. We are experienced cruisers which means we like what we like and have a routine. We like late dinner because we don't want to rush or cut our shore day short to make a 6:15 early time. Our routine is 8:15 dinner and 10:15 show, on the Sunshine there is no late show. They turn the auditorium into a dance club, so if you have late dinner you go to the 7:15 show. We just felt rushed and on a couple port days we missed the show. We always cruise as a big group and we all really enjoy the shows. The comedy shows are great if you can get a seat, the venue is to small and the hallway you stand in line to get into the show is so hot. I don't know why they can't cool that hallway?

Our room steward Javier was fantastic! He was very attentive! We cruised with a group of 19 and within a couple of days he learned our family members and greeted them when they came to visit.
