We took the Adriatic cruise because of the wonderful itinerary and the itinerary was superb. The meals were below the standard I expected. Café al Bacio needs a patisserie chef. The dinners in the dining room were poor - Kobe Meatloaf!, Veal Cordon Bleu without cheese!, and asparagus salad with no asparagus. The stateroom attendants were excellent, and had the room not been so well kept, this cruise would have been s disaster. The captain is excellent - the best we have had with Celebrity. The entertainment seemed good, but we found the late show was too late. We bought rum which was delivered to our room just before departure and when we got home, we discovered it was not the rum we ordered. The ship was clean, but with only 2 sea days, we did not spend much time on board. The service in the dining room was good, but the food was not.
The attendants were very good. The room was clean, but aging.
Had a drive to Ljubljana and a walking tour of the city. Visited the castle with help of the tour guide who got us a group rate. We had lunch on our own and visited the local market place.View All 14 Ljubljana Reviews
Started with a trip to the island town of Trogir with its narrow streets and ancient cathedrals. From there we travelled inland to a Bishop's home where we saw how people lived in middle ages. They served a wonderful lunch including a local wine. On return to Split we had a brief tour of the Diocletian Palace.View All 3 Dalmatian Walking Tour Reviews
The tour guide was a Game of Thrones fanatic. The guide had her own pictures from the Game of Thrones. She would take us to the spot where the action was filmed, hold up the picture and explain the props added for the game of thrones. We walked the walls and ended up with an excellent tour of Dubrovnik. The guide advised us where the best places were to have lunch.View All undefined undefined Reviews
