We were first time cruisers so did not know what to expect having spent limited time on the forums we had booked some excusions ahead of time but to our dismay we had not booked any of the speciality restaurants. So on our first day we were surprised when we were unable to book the restaurants of our choice even then. So my top tip BOOK AHEAD.

However everything else was above reproach. All staff are wonderful from your cabin steward to waiters to chefs to cruise directors etc. They all care about your experience and happiness. We had a small problem with our toilet seat and mentioned it to the cabin steward it was rectified within 2 hours. The entertainment on board was to a very high standard the live music in the various bars and the shows in the Theatre were really very good, better than expected. We enjoyed all the food accept the food in the Italian Speciality restaurant which was disappointing. We will definitely be booking a Norwegian Cruise again.
