We decided to try NCL's newest class of ship with some family that haven't cruised in over 15 years. My family has cruised alot.

First off the ship design is not good. The multi level atrium host shows and activities. The problem is that it is very loud. So if you need to do anything with guest services or spend time in the Internet cafe, it is extremely loud. So loud, you have to scream to the agent. Even reading in the library is difficult. Then the idea of having 2 elevator lobbied instead of the traditional three makes for some long waits for a elevator and long walks. Finally, the pool area is extremely crowded. The adult pool area is so loud when the band is playing that you can't relax.

The service is extremely slow in the restaurants. And even the pay restaurants makes you wonder what the cover charge is for....it's not exceptional service. And forget asking for a straw. Or anything else. They have you hostage. They know you can't leave the ship. We ran into several rude staff members. It's like they know you can't leave and you have to take their attitude.

Very small. But the bathroom is the largest I've seen.
