After reading all the reviews for this ship we used the Groupon special and decided to go.

We left with low expectations. We were pleasantly surprised. Yes there were problems which any line could have. arrival was smooth and we were on the boat by 1:30 pm after arriving at 1 pm. Had to check luggage - this process could be handled better, not terrible though. Then when you get upstairs there is a line which go through pictures, choosing dining options before getting on boat. Again could have been handled better, perhaps lack of room necessitates this. Once on board we had a nice lunch and went to our room. Bags arrived shortly. Specialty restaurant had very good tenderloin and steak. Fri Diablo was not good. Regular restaurant for dinner next day was very good and had a piano player. We were pleasantly surprised that food was good after reviews.

Our room was spacious, bathroom too - some newer boats have decreased space. Service throughout ship was very good. My husband could not find half and half for coffee, steward told him where to go. When he got there it was empty so he returned to his seat, within minutes the steward found him with a pitcher of half and half. They had a nighttime buffet which a lot of ships have eliminated and it was very good. Getting off the boat in Palm Beach was a pleasure if you have your US or Canadian passport.

Port Reviews

Freeport

Getting back on boat a nightmare. Very hot waiting on line at least 45 min. Buses pulled up as well as taxi's and those tourist cut the line. Only one security machine open for everyone. Had second which was not open. Should have had two lines, one for returning passengers the other for those who stayed in Freeport. Once through that mess, no direction as to where to go, there was another line for those coming onboard from staying in Freeport but no one told you that was what it was for.
