First time on a Norwegian ship for a Mediterranean cruise. Previously travelled Royal Caribbean. Balcony cabin great (read some bad reviews before we went) Just me & husband in cabin so we had no problems with size of room or toilet/shower facilities. We were delighted with our cabin. Thoroughly enjoyed the food & relaxed feel on board. Could dress up or be smart but casual & wouldn't feel out of place whatever we wore .Excursions to ports were well handled but fraught at times due to ill mannered people not joining queues. The excursions we went on were good but would have liked to have had some time in Naples instead of the sightseeing tour that we got (Naples/Sorrento, transport only, excursion).Loved the 3 course lunch with wine in Sorrento that was included in this too. Entertainment a bit hit & miss but when they were good they were excellent. The only bad thing we encountered was on our return to Barcelona airport we arrived at 7.50am, waited in a massive queue & didn't get bags checked in until 9.15am (as only one girl working).Boarding was at 9.20 so big rush to get through security & duty free before flight left. We loved the ship & would be happy to travel on the Epic again.

Cabin Review

Family Balcony

Cabin B5

Loved the room & balcony. Plenty of storage places for clothes.

Port Reviews

Rome (Civitavecchia)

The shuttle buses supplied by the ship to take us to train station made this so easy for us to have a day in Rome on our own terms. We had already been made aware of how easy this could be by members of family who done it last year. So straight forward & loved Rome.
