Sail Date: May 2015
Cabin: Balcony, sheltered

From the moment the possibility of the 3 Queens meeting in Liverpool was first suggested I was determined to be there. We have been on all 3 but QM2 is our favourite and the British Isles itinerary suited us best. It was a bonus that we would be on board for our wedding anniversary.

The Liverpool celebrations were better than I could ever have expected, it was a bit chilly but the sun came out in perfect time for the line up opposite the Cunard building and the Red Arrows flyover.

We had a sheltered balcony on deck 5, we were quite a long way aft which meant a lot of walking especially for the theatre and the Commodore club. I wouldn't choose a cabin in this position again.

Balcony, sheltered

Sheltered balconies are fine for cold weather cruising (which unfortunately the British Isles in late May was this year).
