Sail Date: May 2015
Cabin: Large Ocean-View Stateroom

This was our 15th cruise, and we have cruised with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess and Norwegian.

The Maasdam is older but still in good shape. This is probably the smallest cruise ship we have cruised on, and we quite liked it. We did have one stormy night and you could feel the rough seas a little more than on a larger ship - but that just made it more fun, I think. We chose this cruiseline/ship solely for the itinerary.

We took the ship's transfer from the airport. Only had to wait a few minutes for our number to be called to check in. We boarded the ship around 1:00 and our cabin was ready. After grabbing a bite to eat on the Lido deck we got off the ship and walked around Montreal close to the port. It is a lovely city. Our luggage was waiting for us by our door, when we returned to the ship.
