Sail Date: May 2015

We returned from our Paris- Normandy cruise on May 25th. We were on the Rinda. It is one of their newer ships- so we were obviously looking forward to that. Unfortunately, the fact that it was newer- and longer than their other ships- had a negative impact on the cruise. If you are taking this river cruise (Paris – Normandy), you will not be staying in Paris. You will be a minimum of 40 minutes away and it could be as much as an hour- depending on traffic, time of day etc. The other Viking ships are a block or less from the Eiffel tower. The shuttle service to Paris was sporadic which limited access. Some people did not wish to spend 10 hours in Paris waiting for the first shuttle home. We lost the ability to meander in Paris, visit café’s….go out to dinner because we did not have easy access. This was a big disappointment to us-

Here is what they did really well and good-

Cabin Review

Cabin Verenda

The cabin was very small but we knew what to expect in advance. The bathroom was also very small. But again- it was what we expected. Thankfully suitcases did fit under the bed
