Overall, this was a beautiful ship and the service was amazing. Our waiters and room steward were friendly and worked tirelessly to give us excellent service. The crew was friendly and hardworking. We traveled with our 3 children ages 12(boy/girl twins) and a 5 year old. If you are traveling with children, the family ocean view suite was a great choice! We were at the very front of the ship with 3 large windows and we had a great view as the bridge was right above us. It was VERY quiet in our cabin with very little traffic around us. You are kind of nestled in a little corner on deck 8. The boys had a room with a door with 2 bunks and our daughter had a very large fold out couch to a bed. Our area had a king size bed and a curtain for privacy. 2 flat screen TVs and a very large space.
The kids club for the 5 year old was very nice. I felt comfortable leaving him and he had a blast! Not so much for the 12 year olds. The teen area was ages 12-17. My kids saw the high schoolers as we walked in and immediately wanted to leave. They are going into 7th grade and didn't feel comfortable around much older kids. It did not look supervised and I didn't feel comfortable leavIng them anyway. So much for adult time...
Great choice for a family of 5. Lots of space, quiet and a great view of the front of the ship. I highly recommend this cabin for a family!
