4 th cruise -first on Carnival, went because of the close proximity to our home. Ship was worn but clean. Staff was very nice . Ship was very crowded. Long lines for lunch , dinner etc. basic food no frills - pools were packed 15 people in a 7 person hot tub . Room service limited. Went with kids who enjoyed the water slides. This is not a luxury cruise, if you go with the expectation of a Hampton Inn cruise idea it's fine. Entertainment staff worked hard - but service staff was overwhelmed at bars - 30-40 waiting and 2 bartenders - I gave up which cost the cruise line money as I was paying by the drink not a package. Ship needs to be overhauled - we were docked in the Bahamas next to other cruise lines and you could tell this ship was tired. The cabin stewards were great - did a fine job.
Room was clean - not enough receptacles - no thermostat- just a blue/ red dial on unit - not cool enough till sun set.
