I have cruised many times dating back to mid 90's. Big Red Boat, Disney, Carnival, NCL and now RC. We went with our family roughly 12 people total. We all had balcony rooms which were VERY NICE. Downfall to the room VERY VERY VERY small shower!! The staff was GREAT everywhere... With an exception we ate dinner the last night in the Windjammer and the "servers" never came over to clear our table (table for 2ppl). Now the ship has amazing shopping! The spa was nice too! My biggest complaint was most activies were geared to an older demographic. Some shows were GREAT! Others not my thing as they were geared to a much OLDER generation. Basically if you didnt want to shop or sit by the pool and dont gamble there wasnt much to do. I did however like the adult only pool area. Most ships have this but only hot tubs and not a pool so that was nice. The food however was not too great. The dining room food was ok but all soups were bland. The layout of Windjammer was HORRIBLE and I got tired of the same food daily! Hot dog, Burgers, Pasta... 7 days of this :/ Did not try the cupcake or ben and jerrys places as I didnt see the need to spend the money. Starbucks was yummy and included in the drink package. Pizze got old after awhile though. No midnight buffet on this ship either which was dissapointing. After the late night shows I wanted to eat. I did utilize Room Service alot! but same menu got old. Over all the destinations we went to were great but for the price you pay for the balcony room I expected better! I thought carnival was better than this which surprised me.
