We loved this ship! We drove this time and parked in a garage called Park Right which advertised a free ride to the cruise terminal. We were number 10 in line and waited 2 hours. Next time we would just leave our keys with the attendant and take a cab. We've taken a bus before which was easy but involved a 2 hour wait when getting off the ship to go home. We always go to Taste or Savor for lunch when first boarding the ship. Much more relaxing than the craziness of the buffet. H2O is the best sail away viewing spot to see both the Manhattan skyline and the Statue of Liberty. Vibe beach club was definitely worth it. We got a cabana and enjoyed not having to maneuver for a deck chair. The slides were a blast....if not just a little fast. Miniature golf was fun but perhaps looked a little run down. Ropes course was super scary! I don't know how but I actually enjoyed it and would do it again. Game room was fun and had a great selection of arcade, video and table games. PAC Man air hockey is a must! Cagney's and the Bistro are our favorite restaurants. The mussel appetizer at the Bistro is to die for! At Cagney's we love the bone in Ribeye, the short rib appetizer, the Cagney fries and well, everything! O'Sheehan's is great for breakfast or anytime snack. The banana split is huge and worth every penny! Bowling was great, pool just okay. No chalk and not so great sticks. The outdoor boardwalk is the perfect setting for an afternoon stroll. Stop at the Ocean Blue snack shack and order a lobster roll. I am from New England and it is the best lobster roll I have ever had! If the outdoor window is closed, no worries, they serve it at the raw bar inside. The outdoor bar at Shakers is a great viewing spot for the fireworks. Loved the 6-7-8 concept and being able to view all three floors at once. Did not love that usually fun r rated games were eliminated due to venue being the atrium. Absolutely do not miss Rock of Ages. Angel was our favorite entertainer. Ice bar was fun but I think more so because I had a few cocktails before going in. When in Port Canveral, we always rent a car and drive to Universal Studios for the day. Much cheaper than excursions. Worth it to valet park and purchase the speed pass. We rented a private cabana on Great Stirrup Cay. I loved it but my husband thought it was not worth the money unless you had a group. We ordered the sushi and it was definitely more than enough for six people. They will go to the buffet for you but aren't thrilled to do it. Even if I didn't get the cabana I would go to that beach. It's more private and worth the walk as it is really not too far from anything. The main beach is very crowded. If you decide to rent a clam shell, know it is very far from the water. The water park at Atlantis is fun but extremely expensive. The slides are super fast and a little scary. Best lazy river ever! It includes rapids, tidal waves and a conveyor belt to a water slide. On site aquarium is beautiful. Fish sandwich is out of this world. We have been on seven NCL ships and this is our favorite!

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BD

Loved this cabin! Lots of storage, very comfy bed and large bathroom. We were on deck 9 which was an easy walk down to restaurants and up to pool. Right near the elevator which is what we prefer. Ironing board came quickly!

Port Reviews

New York (Manhattan)

Parked at Park Rite Garage. They advertised free ride to cruise terminal . We were number 10 in line and waited 2 hours for a ride to cruise terminal. Others left their keys and took a cab. Next time, we would do the same.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Rented a car and drove to Universal Studios. When exiting the cruise terminal go straight thru the arch then to the left to pick up the rental car vans. Get off the ship ASAP and head straight there. Some vans will already be there otherwise you may have to wait. Once the vans are there they only wait a few minutes before heading to the rental car office. Pre register from home so check in is quicker. Good to bring your GPS from home. Valet parking at Universal is worth it and so is the speed pass. You can easily see one park in a day and both if you skip some of the lesser attractions. Diagonal Alley was amazing!!! Stop at The Leaky Cauldron for Scotch Eggs and Butterbeer. Don't miss the Gringott's ride or the Simpsons. We've also eaten at Emerils and Bubba Gump shrimp and enjoyed them both.
