The Norwegian Epic is an impressibly large cruise ship. Despite the size, service was always efficient and friendly. The restaurants were pleasantly appointed and the choice of dishes very good which combined with good service made dining a very enjoyable experience. Despite the size and various daytime outdoor facilities and entertainment there was a quiet area into which the noise did not intrude. Also a daytime adults only area was much appreciated. There was a variety of evening entertainment. If the show in the theatre was not to your taste there were other events in the lounges which were more enjoyable. Shore excursions in most ports were enjoyable and in the case of Pompei extremely educational as well.

Very clean and excellently serviced but quirky design which is not as acceptable as other ships.
