Departed southampton in the rain which seams to happen every time i ail out or back just my luck what i didn't realize at the time as the weather was a sign of things to come...
We sailed up the north sea to stavanger which was a pleasant day but on the saturday night at the captains drinks we were told that very little i opened in stavanger before lunch on a sunday which we found to be true this would be the last day of sun...
we picked up our norwegian pilots for our trip through the fjords on sunday and they stay with you until you leave.
Cabin Review
As said before the ship needs a refit this apply's to the cabins as well the tv's in the room don't have you're account on them and are very limited having been on azura i may have been spoiled but i believe from another passenger that aurora has smart tv's now the balcony needed a lick of paint and was full of sea salt the bathroom is so small the toilet is at a weird angle end up going up to the deck toilet when i needed to sit down on toilet the shower has a funny angle everything was kept clean inside cabin but was very tired and in need of updating...

Stavanger
stavanger doesn't like sunday mornings so if you go on a sunday very limited what is open went for a long walk around the town there was a cycle race on which was the tour de fjords which we managed to watch the end of from our balcony just before departure.
