Having been on 8 Seabourn Cruises in the past, and taking the Silversea's Shadow on a 7 day Alaskan cruise we did have some trepidation. Although the physical sizes of the ships (Shadow and Odyssey class) dimensionally are similar; it is the employees that make the difference. The Silversea's employees did not disappoint us.

Although this is a review on the "Shadow" I will continue to compare and contrast since the cliental for Silversea's and Seabourn are from the same socio-economic background, and the differences that exist will help you determine which company suits your interests best. Although, itinerary and price may play a role in making a decision. For us; Seabourn does not have any Alaska cruise.
