We embarked on this ship after a weeks holiday in Miami South Beach. We, myself, husband and 20yr old daughter were looking forward to this cruise.
We were bitterly disappointed the first nights meal in the Palace restaurant. The service was slow to say the least, the food only tepid and the waiters were sullen, the sommelier was quite rude. They even charged us for a cup of brown water that was supposed to be coffee at the end of our meal which we had to ask for.
Brekfast the following morning was taken in Crossing Restaurant and was as bad as the night before's meal. Coffee must have come from the same pot!!!
Excellent size bathroom and cabin steward happy smiley and very pleasant nothing too much trouble
Embarkation smooth, disembarkation equally smooth but couldn't wait to get off so choose to take own luggage. Staff were more visible than at any other point of trip
We went on one of the minibuses to the town of Freeport as we like to just investigate these places for ourselves. Apart from the tacky PortLacaya market which is built purely for the tourists we found ourselves at Rum Runners cooling down and having a drink!!!
We then headed back to the ship and spent a good 1.5hrs being entertained at Signor Frogs
A small one street town that is full of jewellery shops, fine if your in the market for it.
Beware to the bank atm sign that says US Dollars here, it is only available from the ATM inside the bank and not the hole in the wall.
We could not leave ship as Captain had deemed the weather too dangerous to use the launches to tender people to shore. Consequently we spent a day bobbing around the Atlantic
