Since our grandson was traveling with us and we did not want to get two cabins so we got the Grand Suite. Let me tell you it was anything but grand. We frequently have had suites on other cruise lines and this one was much smaller than those. The amenities that I got on those others do not seem to be offered by Carnival.

The food was nothing special and I'll leave it at that.

We have always received the best of service on any ship on which we have sailed and the staff on Fantasy were no exception. Both the cabin and dining room staff were fantastic.

Port Reviews

Charleston

We took an independent "Ghost" walking tour but were rather disappointed. We did not take an excursion offered by Carnival. We have been to Charleston several times and always enjoy it.

Freeport

We did not leave the Port area and just shopped at the places set up there. There are several places but they all have the same things for sale and nothing is very good.

Nassau

The port is just at the downtown area and is only a short walk from the ship. There are lots of shops including a Straw Market but the items here were much the same as we saw in Freeport.
