We are gold Latitude members, so we have sailed on several NCL ships. We were on the Epic from England to NYC on it's first Atlantic crossing, so we had experience with the larger ships. Yes, there are large numbers of passengers, but the ships are large enough that there is space for all. This cruise from Miami on the Getaway was the smoothest embarkation and disembarkation that we have experienced. Personal interactions with the crew have been a high point for us. That seemed to be lacking somewhat on this cruise except on our dining in Le Bistro. That may be one of the drawbacks of the larger ships. We definitely saved with the Ultimate Beverage Package. One complaint was the difficulty in finding the "sweet dpot" on the bar to flush the toilet in our stateroom. That was far more difficult than it should have been.
The cabin was as expected. The "sweet spot" on the flush bar for the toilet was more difficult to find than it should have been.
