We arrived at Pt. Everglades about 10:15 am and were on the ship by 11:15 am. Very quick and organized embarkation. We were allowed into our rooms by 1:30 pm so that was nice also. We had "My Time Dining" and we sat at the same table every night as we really liked our 3 waiters that took care of us. They were very happy all the time.

Our room was good and plenty big enough for the two of us and we had ample space to put everything away. Our safety drill was at 4:30 PM the exact time we were supposed to have our sail away but we were delayed leaving by 2.5 hrs. as they had a mechanical problem and then a passenger had to disembark for medical reasons. I hate the drills, but know they are necessary but I think they go over things that are not necessary as people should be aware of the smoking policy and a few other things before getting on a cruise ship.

The first sea day we went to the Brunch and it was very good. The next day we arrived at our first port, Grand Turks and just went to Margarittaville and has a couple of drinks as there is not much to do there. The next day we arrived at our second port, Dominican Republic and just went to one shop and went right back on board as we did not book any excursions and you had to take a taxi or bus to get anywhere and we were told by guest services that it was not really safe. The third port was Carasau and we really enjoyed that port. It had a lot of shops that you could walk to and we had a couple of beers along the waterway and that was very enjoyable. The fourth port was Aruba and this was our favorite port. There also was a lot of shops and we just had a few beers there along the water also looking at the ship in the distance and went back to the ship.
