We have been on 5 river cruises (60+ ocean cruises) but this was the first one with Viking.
The staff were fine!
The ship - on which we paid extra to have a third floor suite - was parked next to another ship at least 5 times. What a disappointment to look out - only to see another person's room as our view. On previous AVALON cruise this never happened and noticed them in several ports this year - never beside another ship!
