I am a 4 star cruiser with Holland America and have always praised how much they do for you and what a wonderful cruise line they are. I can no longer say that. I brought a high school friend with me and we stayed in a Neptune suite. The room was great and our stewards were wonderful, but the rest of the staff need a book on manners, especially in the Neptune lounge you will be treated to the rudest person on the ship. He has no idea how to help you with a problem except to say she's worked for the cruise line for 5 years and knows everything and you are not right and I am not screaming the way he did.

The food was bland and not fresh. I have never sent a seal back but my salmon smelled so fishy I had them take it away and a meal replacement came when the rest of my table was finished. Trying to get a drink was easy if you jumped them but if you wanted another I suggest standing on the chair and waving your napkin over your head. If it wasn't for the people we were eating with we would have used the Pinnacle Grill every night. I did hear you could get good food there.

As for service on the hole ship, there were times you had to go to the bar if you wanted a drink they were so under staffed.
