Our cruise on the Sun was from 6/06/04 through 6/13/04. We had a great time! I don't want to make this too detailed, so I'll just try to hit most of the highs and the few lows. There were about 1950 passengers on board, and there were few kids or teens on board. Most of the passengers appeared to be more in the senior citizen range, but we were expecting that in Alaska.

Embarkation: Kind of slow. We are Latitudes members, so it did speed up the process a bit. We waited in a special Latitudes line for about 20 minutes to get checked in. The worst of the wait came in clearing Canadian customs. That process seemed rather disorganized, and probably took another 30-45 minutes.

The ship itself: Gorgeous! Small, minor details were a little worn, like the tables on the outside buffet, but for the most part the ship was sparkling clean and appeared new. Crew members were constantly polishing and cleaning.
