Embarkation was the speediest I've ever experienced, so full marks for thatThe cabin was pleasant, but although I cannot back up my impression with measurements, it felt smaller than any previous ones.

The dynamic dining was success , we felt, as the food quality was excellent, and service very good. You have to be aware , though that , in spite of the long list of restaurants there are just 4 which provide a full formal meal...The Grande, American Icon Grill, Silk and Chic. The rest are paid or snack venues. Also, on 2 of our 11 nights we were given the same menu in all of these restaurants, called "A Taste of Anthem"with samples from each of the venues, to " give us an experience of them all"We thought this should have been renamed " A taste of 20 dishes we prepared instead of 80, because we thought you would not notice".We ate at 3 paid restaurants, Wonderland, great fun, fab venue, and deliicious food, Jamie's (twice),absolutely great and fab service, but be aware the single cover chatge has now changed to a la carte, which makes it expensive, and finally, our once favourite Chops Grille, which was a disappointment because of a reduced menu, dismal interior, and probably the worst position on the ship, with a miserable view of lifeboats. We wondered if this great venue was being phased out?

The entetainment was profesional, but musically undiverse. We expected a spread from pop, rock , through to some classical, as the ship's name suggests, but found the constant loud performances, and piped musak grating for our taste. It was also difficult to plan our entertainment choices around our meal bookings. As the dining is more fluid than usual, it would be more sensible to present the full entertainment times at the start of the cruise rather than daily, so that meal bookings don't have to be constantly changed. The computer generated show in 2.70is amazing, but is not easy to view for the whole audience due to the informal seating.
