I am writing this review after having read the previous review "Bad Bad World Cruise". I echo the comments whole heartedly but I thought it was just us that had an unlucky experience. We are experienced cruisers but had never been with P&O before. We will never book wth them again as long as we breath!. All the negative comments written on this site about this company and ship Arcadia have a ring of truth in them.

The trip commenced well enough. We were invited up on deck to watch the fireworks and listen to a band play us out, even partake in a glass of champagne. Wonderful we thought until we realised that the "champagne" was £3.50p a glass. What a wake up call for passengers that had paid for a world cruise. Unfortunately this money grabbing at every opportunuty continued for the next 3.5 months as we sailed round the world.

Nevermind, before we had crossed the Atlantic alot of passengers were succumbing to "the cough" which I understand is spread by the air conditioning system. This seems to be a regular problem aboard this ship but yet P&O do nothing about it year after year. By the time we reached Sydney six weeks later sufficient enough people were only too glad to disembark and fly home to claim back their medical treatment expenses from their insurance companies.
