my sister and I travelled aboard the Carnival Spirit as first time cruisers. For their 7 days to New Caledonia cruise travelling to the Isle of Pines and Noumea. Starting with the embarkation which was easy to understand well sign posted and their were many staff who were able and willing to assist the embarkation was quick as well. the service was incredible all the staff were happy and ready to help with your every query or problem not that there were any problems and the service in the restaurants was also very very good with all orders being taken and all meals being delivered very quickly and very well, the housekeeping service was also very good with both cleaning and turn-down service being done quickly, efficiently and very well. the ship was very easy to navigate with ship deck plans being posted at all main elevator areas on all decks as well as a deck plan being provided during embarkation with your stateroom number posted on the front. the activities provided on board were fun and easy to find out about with the FUN TIMES newsletter being brought to your stateroom at turn-down service each night for the following day with all activities, shows and general port information when needed being listed inside. the shore excursions were easy to find out about with talks being conducted by the cruise director and also a special desk dedicated to shore excursions right next to the customer services desk at the Spirit Atrium located on Deck 2 making bookings easy as well. the cabin was roomy and very well organised and maintained both the window and the bathroom in the room were a fair size providing enough room for the necessities in the bathroom and well and truly enough room for two people to look out the window at the vast ocean views or the land as it passes you by. as previously mentioned the dining was very enjoyable with multiple different ways to dine in many different locations on Decks 2, 3, 9 and 10. the entertainment was also very enjoyable with shows being provided each night at 7:30 and 9:30 with only one show only being shown at the 9:30 time slot that show being the Game Of Love which was very amusing and entertaining with three married couples being asked a series of questions about each other with some of the questions and answers being very very amusing. the disembarkation process was also very easy with a talk once again being conducted by the Cruise Director as well as a Q&A again being hosted by the Cruise Director as well as a group of other entertainment staff. to summarise both my sister and I were very impresses and have seriously considered going on multiple future cruises on board the Carnival Spirit.
