Just off the 5/25 sailing, my 3rd, and had a wonderful time taking 6 first time cruisers close to me; my girlfriend and her son, her parents, and my recently retired parents. Overall, we had a great trip. The Fantasy may be old but she is well kept, the crew was working tirelessly to clean and strip and paint and scrub. The 24 hr pizza and ice cream were ever present and ever eaten, the food in the MDR was great every night, the Waterworks was a huge hit with the 6yo and the available live music was good. The Hasbro game show was a fun experience and our little man helped our team win. The Brits show and the Motown show were ok but there was a big difference from the leads to the backups and the canned music didn't play cleanly all of the time. John Wesley Austin was one of our comedians, he was also on my first cruise and I really like his show and he did not disappoint. We tried the cheers program because we had a bunch of OBC anyways, I still need to add things up to see how it would have worked out. Our cabin was clean and fresh and I didn't have many complaints, but the cabin, and the ship in general, did stay warmer than I would have liked but I like it cold and it was never uncomfortable.

Bahamas - did the All Inclusive Beach Day in Freeport - nice beach/water but the alcohol on the free-drinks menu may have well been water (the paid drinks were a different story) and the Private Island Dolphin Encounter in Nassau which was very fun but you have a very limited time at the island after the encounter and the bar was pricey. Also walked around Nassau some and shopped/drank at Sharkeys.

This was my first experience with sailing in the Atlantic and the ship did have more noticeable roll to it than previous cruises which most of the group did well with, especially with a few sea-sickness patches; but it did make the cruise rougher for one of our members recovering from a stroke and they spent a lot of time in their room.
