Good value for money

Having cruises NCL & RCI it was interesting to be able to compare

Southampton embarkation and disembarkation was quick and flawless

The plus points are the Crew ,they make the cruise so enjoyable ,the best of all the cruises I have been on ,however I have to say there are many eastern Europeans Crew some resembling ex east German border guards ! 'wud yu like sum vine ?' eh yes please ? can have a look at the wine list ? -It didn't spoil our trip it was a source of amusement ,we warmed to the wine waiters during the cruise .

The ship itself felt small and crowded ,every venue /show trying to get into a lift was a queue (half term) 600 kids on-board who were running about filling up the pool & Jacuzzis -my fault for booking on school holidays ! ,in the evening it was hard to get a seat as so many were being used for sleeping children past 1AM -ohh yes I am grouchy !

I travelled with my elderly mother & friend both 70ish ,it was ideal for them and they loved it .(wife came too)

The food in restaurant was excellent and service impeccable ,breakfast & Lunch was usual scrum ,NO 24 Hours Buffet !

The ship was very clean and fitted out well ,however It doesn't have any WOW factors ,except the Lawn ? (I have one of these at home) ,

Pool area plenty of sun beds but NO YES NO the British putting the towels out an reserving beds for hours !!! WHY ?

I wouldn't choose this ship over NCL or RCI as an over all package they have more to offer

But please don't be put off we had a great time and all the above is an element of nit -picking !
