Traveled with children

We have cruised many times before but this was our first cruise with a child.

This cruise was advertised at a good price so we decided to take our 5 year Grandson with us.

Boarding the ship was just like boarding an aeroplane, get in a queue and wait, something that was new to us. Still it wasn't too bad. When we got to the check in Chloe was very good with our Grandson showing just what she was doing, not sure what the people behind us thought about it. One word of warning when taking a Grandchild away with Celebrity, we were sent a form to be filled in by a parent and adult on the cruise plus to be signed by a notary, this is essential as we were asked if we were the biological parents of the child. Other people we spoke to didn't have the form either sent to them or filled in so they had all sorts of problems getting on the ship, something we will be aware of next time we take the grandchildren on a cruise.

Cabin Review

Deluxe Veranda 2A

Cabin 2A

Paid for an inside cabin and an up grade to a balcony cabin, no complaints there. The cabin was bigger than we were expecting, compared to other cruise lines that we have been on. With the third bed being in the ceiling and above the setee the cabin remained a good size. The wardrobe seemed a bit small and not much draw space for a family, but plenty for as we were on a 5 day cruise. Good cabin steward.
