We did the Voyage of the Vikings last year and booked the same room for this return after a number of years to Hamilton BM. If you want to see the real Bermuda take this cruise and you will be disappointed by the crowds and lack of things to see at the Dockyard (Kings wharf). Unfortunately, most of the water excursions do leave from there but you can easily take the ferry or do what we did and take the "pink public bus" The later is only $15 for an all day pass which allows you to hop on and hop off anywhere it stops. Service is regular and on time.

Take the bus to St Georges and stop at the Rum Sizzle Inn for lunch. The pitcher of swizzles will make your day. Renting a scooter is easy in Hamilton by walking a short distance to Queen St just pass the Red Lobster restaurant. I also recommend Flanagan's for some Irish draft and nachos where they give you free WiFi.

The ship is a perfect size and everyone is very friendly. We ate at PG and had excellent steak on Mother's Day. Regular dining had normal (good) HAL offerings including Lobster tails and steak one night.

Verandah Suite

Cabin BA

One of the best for the money if you can get it. Aft balcony with wrap around veranda. 180 deg views with sun most of the time. It sells fast to those in the know.
