Hello, I have been on approx 20-25 cruises. This is the 1st time ever on a cruise that I wasn't served lobster during the week, NCL just stopped it on this boat. The other food was very good though. They have about 6 specialty restaurants on the ship that take up a lot of the ships space and they Charge you $20-30.00 pp to eat. RCL doesn't make a business out of it, there food is mostly FREE like it should be. Drinks are approx $10.00 apiece. Even room service is $7.95, on RCL it is FREE. Everywhere you turn they will charge you, and you can honestly feel the GREED! I was really getting upset about it. NCL is losing the fun factor because of it. The benefits for frequent cruisers cannot be compared to RCL in anyway, NCL literally STINKS in this area. ON RCL you get FREE Drinks from 4:30-8:00, it's a Huge bonus. Also on RCL Free special Lounge area with snacks (coffee, chocolate covered strawberries, ect), robes, in room goodies, discounts, ect! I am not exaggerating when I say they are getting Greedy, I have been on many cruises. The good parts are, service was very good, some shows were excellent (David), Atrium with walk around deck is nice. If you want to build up frequent cruiser benefits then absolutely go with RCL. If you want to get Nickel and Dimed $10-30 bucks at a time then go with NCL.
