Sail Date: May 2015

Just returned from the Island Windjammer’s Diamant Twelve Day Exploration, sailing from Grenada to St. Lucia and back. What a fun trip!

“Little diamond” Diamant is a 101 foot double masted schooner that carries 12 passengers and a crew of 5. She is well maintained and very comfortable. Each cabin has individual controlled a/c, separate bath and shower. We were in cabin 4 which had two larges drawers under the bottom bunk, space for hanging clothes, three storage shelves, and ample storage in the bathroom. It is recommended you pack lightly and use soft luggage for easy storage.

The food was excellent with a variety of breakfast entrees, seafood, chicken, pork, pastas, salads, soups, local fruits, awesome desserts including homemade ice cream, great afternoon snacks, and the infamous Rumaggedon aka rum punch. There was a cooler filled with soft drinks and beer as well as coffee and tea available throughout the day. Gained five pounds thanks to Chef Barney.

Cabin Review

Cabin standard

Small but compact and comfortable. Loved the individually controlled a/c.
