This was my first cruise and we chose the Norwegian Gem. We were on deck 11 and had a balcony, WOW, I am spoiled now, we had a mini suite and it was better then I could have ever expected. Will never have anything else. The ship is beautiful, clean, friendly and polite. We had the dinner package and were very happy with it. I think next time I would get the drink package as well. We pre-paid our gratuities and still had to pay the extra 15 to 18% gratuities, so I do not think I would do that again. The entertainment was good, I would have liked the entertainment to be similar to the other ships (cirque de sole), but it was very good. The Grand Stir Cay Island was amazing and fun. We did the dolphin excursion at the Atlantis it was amazing, but the Atlantis is beautiful, but over priced, I would not stay there, I would rather visit and cruise ship be my hotel.

Was a bit disappointed in the Diamond International shopping, very over priced and the item we bought from them (a Wenger watch for 225.00) doesn't even work.

I would do another cruise with the Gem without a doubt. I loved it
